Job description
The role
You're a creator. Not as a side project or a past chapter. It's how you think, how you communicate, and how you understand the people Wondr is built for. You've built an audience, you know what it takes to hold one, and you understand the gap between the tools creators use today and what they actually need.
You'll own marketing at Wondr end-to-end: brand, content, growth, and demand generation. You'll move fast and scale output without scaling headcount, using AI and the right tooling to do the work of a team. You'll work directly with the CEO and Head of Partnerships to build the kind of presence that makes creators and members want in before they've even seen the product.
This isn't a role for someone who needs a large team or a big budget to create impact. It's for someone who's resourceful by nature, AI-native by practice, and energized by building something from nothing.
What you'll do
Own the full marketing function: brand presence, content, creator marketing, community, and growth
Use AI tools natively to scale content production, audience research, campaign execution, and performance analysis. Not as an experiment, but as your default way of working
Build and grow Wondr's audience across channels with a voice that's editorial, specific, and worth following
Drive demand generation and creator and member acquisition: own the funnel, the conversion, and the metrics
Turn every creator signing into an earned media moment that reaches their audience and ours
Work with the Head of Partnerships on creator co-marketing to amplify reach organically
Identify and execute on growth opportunities quickly, without waiting for a playbook that doesn't exist yet
What we're looking for
You're a creator with a real audience you've built yourself: music, culture, media, design, or adjacent. This isn't a nice-to-have.
AI-native: you use AI tools daily, you know their limits, and you build workflows around them that actually scale
Track record in growth or demand generation at a consumer company, alongside or following your creator work
You write with a point of view: editorial rather than corporate, specific rather than vague
Resourceful and fast: you figure out what needs doing and do it, without waiting for direction or budget that doesn't exist
Genuine taste and cultural fluency. You know what's worth paying attention to and why
Based in the SF Bay Area, LA, or California
Strong plus: experience in creator tools, community platforms, or music and culture.
