Job description
Key Responsibilities
Community Education & Combating Antisemitism
• Support implementation of Student to Student and related initiatives
• Build relationships with schools, educators, and community partners
• Recruit and support teen participants and presenters
• Facilitate or co-facilitate sessions on Jewish identity, Israel, and antisemitism
Teen Philanthropy & Engagement
• Coordinate and support programs, including B’nai Tzedek and teen philanthropy initiatives
• Engage and support teens while fostering leadership development and connection to Jewish values
• Assist with outreach to families and community partners
Leadership Development
• Support planning and execution of leadership programs for young adults and midlife participants
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and participant engagement
• Support and co-facilitate sessions focused on leadership and community-building
Program Coordination & Operations
• Manage logistics, including scheduling, communications, materials, and participant tracking
• Support program evaluation and ongoing improvement
• Assist with program-related events, including occasional evenings and weekends
Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor’s degree required
• 2–4 years relevant experience
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to build relationships with diverse audiences
• Interest in informal Jewish education and leadership development
• Knowledge of Jewish identity, Israel, and antisemitism (or willingness to learn)
• Familiarity with the Phoenix Jewish Community
• Relationship-builder with strong interpersonal instincts
• Self-starter who takes initiative and ownership
• Collaborative team player
• Passionate about Jewish life, learning, and leadership development
