Job description
About the role:
Samsara is looking for a strategic and highly effective Senior Sales Operations Analyst to support our fast-growing partner sales organization. This role will partner directly with partner leadership and the partner programs team to support day-to-day partner operations, implement and manage all partner processes, and contribute to the strategic design of new partner programs. The ideal candidate has experience driving operational programs that bring together people, process, and technology to solve complex business problems — and is passionate about building scalable solutions in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
The ideal candidate has experience at a high-growth B2B SaaS company, preferably public, with demonstrated success designing and scaling processes in an indirect or partner sales environment.
This is a remote position open to candidates residing in the US except the San Francisco Bay Metro Area, NYC Metro Area, and Washington, D.C. Metro Area.
You should apply if:
You want to impact the industries that run our world: Your efforts will result in real-world impact—helping to keep the lights on, get food into grocery stores, and most importantly, ensure workers return home safely.
You have an innate curiosity about how businesses work: One day you'll be working through a partner onboarding process, and the next you may be designing the operational framework for an entirely new channel program. You seek to understand the businesses you support in order to make a larger impact.
You build genuine relationships: Partner sales runs on trust. You know how to build lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders and show up as a reliable, strategic resource for the teams you support.
You want to be with the best: Samsara's high-performance culture means you'll be surrounded by the best and challenged to go farther than you have before.
You are a team player: At Samsara, sales is a team sport. We help each other out by sharing best practices and focusing on winning as a team.
In this role, you will:
Partner directly with partner leadership and the partner programs team to support day-to-day partner operations, serving as the primary Sales Ops point of contact for all partner sales needs.
Implement and manage all partner sales processes, ensuring they are scalable, repeatable, and aligned with Samsara's global sales policies and systems.
Contribute to the strategic design of new partner programs, including operational playbooks, cross-functional alignment, and change management execution as new programs are launched.
Own project objectives and milestones with minimal guidance, driving smaller-scope projects or complex cross-functional workstreams end-to-end.
Serve as the subject matter expert on all sales processes that involve channel partners, advising on solution design, system enhancements, and 'run-the-business' items.
Devise and implement new solutions that solve complex project-level issues, including improvements and UAT for tools such as Salesforce used across the partner sales organization.
Proactively identify and prioritize process and system improvements that enhance productivity for partner-facing sales teams.
Champion, role model, and embed Samsara's cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally.
Minimum requirements for the role:
4+ years of experience in a Sales Operations or related operational/strategic role supporting sales organizations in a dynamic, high-growth environment
Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and scale sales processes and policies, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage projects from end-to-end
Proficiency in Salesforce and the broader sales technology ecosystem; ability to build and maintain reports, dashboards, and operational workflows
Strong analytical skills with comfort performing quantitative analysis on large data sets to surface insights, track KPIs, and inform business decisions
Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional programs and coordinate across multiple stakeholders with competing priorities
Strong written and verbal communication skills; experience partnering with and presenting to senior and executive leadership
Proactive, adaptable, and able to operate independently with strong business judgment in a fast-moving environment
Bachelor's degree or higher; business, finance, economics, or related field is a plus
