Responsibilities

Strategic Market Leadership
Develop and execute growth strategy for the Power Delivery business line.
Identify emerging market trends, regulatory developments, and utility investment priorities.
Partner with executive leadership to establish growth targets and strategic priorities.

Business Development Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of business development professionals.
Establish performance goals and accountability measures, including key KPIs.
Foster a culture of collaboration and customer focus.
Coordinate efforts across business development, operations, project management, and technical teams.

Executive Client Relationship Management
Serve as executive relationship manager for select strategic utility clients.
Build trusted relationships with utility executives and key decision-makers.
Develop account strategies that strengthen partnerships and expand market share.
Communicate customer priorities and opportunities throughout the organization.

Business Development & Revenue Growth
Identify and pursue strategic opportunities across power delivery markets.
Develop client-specific business development plans.
Expand existing client relationships and identify new opportunities.
Support conferences, industry engagement, and client events.

Sales Leadership & Forecasting
Develop annual sales forecasts and revenue projections.
Monitor pipeline performance and growth objectives.
Provide market intelligence to senior leadership.
Drive accountability for revenue and profitability targets.

Proposal & Technical Collaboration
Partner with technical leadership and subject matter experts on pursuit strategies.
Support development of qualifications, proposals, and presentations.
Lead customer engagement activities throughout pursuits.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Construction Management, or related field required; Engineering degree preferred
Must have 20+ years of experience in the engineering, energy, or electric utility industry
10+ years of successful business development, account management, or market leadership experience within the electric utility sector is required
Experience leading and developing business development, sales, or client management teams
Established relationships with executive leaders within investor-owned utilities
Strong executive presence and communication skills
Ability to travel approximately 50-75%
