MUSIC TEACHER - 2026-2027 ACADEMIC YEAR
Rabbi Arthur Schneier Park East Day School, a boutique, academically rigorous Jewish day school on Manhattan's Upper East Side, is seeking a warm, energetic, and creative part-time Music Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.
The Music Teacher will teach Early Childhood students and Grades 1-4, creating engaging, age-appropriate classes that incorporate singing, rhythm, movement, and musical exploration.
Qualifications
Experience teaching music to young children
Knowledge of traditional Jewish music, Jewish holidays, and contemporary Israeli music
Exerience teaching Hebrew and Jewish music
Piano or keyboard proficiency strongly preferred; guitar proficiency welcomed
Ability to play by ear
Hebrew fluency preferred
Warm, engaging, and collaborative approach
