About the role
As a Deskside Engineer, you will make an impact by designing, implementing, and optimizing secure workplace solutions for hybrid work environments. You will manage large-scale device fleets, enhance user productivity, and strengthen security using enterprise-grade tools and modern management practices. You will be a valued member of the Cloud Infrastructure and Security team, working collaboratively with security, network, and application teams.
In this role, you will
• Design and maintain scalable desktop management solutions using SCCM, including OS deployments, software distribution, and patch compliance.
• Implement and administer Intune-based device management policies for Windows and mobile endpoints, including compliance, conditional access, and application deployment.
• Drive end-to-end OS imaging strategies for Windows devices, including standardized builds and compatibility validation.
• Administer Mac desktop management through configuration profiles, software deployment, and update strategies.
• Troubleshoot complex endpoint issues across SCCM, Intune, and Mac platforms with thorough root cause analysis and documentation.
• Collaborate with security, network, and application teams to align endpoint configurations with enterprise security objectives.
• Monitor device health and performance metrics to proactively address issues and recommend policy improvements.
• Guide and mentor junior engineers on best practices and automation-driven approaches.
• Create and maintain technical documentation including architecture diagrams, SOPs, and playbooks.
What you need to have to be considered
• 3+ years of experience in enterprise desktop management with deep hands-on expertise in SCCM, including software deployment, patching, and OS imaging.
• Proven experience with Intune device management for Windows and mobile endpoints.
• Practical experience managing Mac endpoints in a corporate environment using modern management tools.
• Strong knowledge of endpoint security concepts such as encryption, antivirus, and vulnerability remediation.
• Scripting skills in PowerShell or similar tools to automate endpoint operations.
• 3+ years of experience with Windows Desktop OS support, Mac OS support, printers and peripherals, and hardware troubleshooting.
