IT Manager - IT Business Resiliency

As an IT manager of the IT Business Resiliency Services team, you’ll lead the team responsible for advancing the three pillars of IT Resiliency at Progressive - High Availability, Disaster Recovery and Cyber Resiliency. Your team will consist of 10 – 12 systems engineers, analysts and software developers who design, implement, and maintain robust disaster recovery and business continuity frameworks. Your team will deliver IT resiliency capabilities across on-prem, cloud, vendor, and SaaS solutions, strengthening our ability to resist disruption and recover rapidly with minimal impact through modern, industry-informed resiliency practices.

This is a remote position, with occasional travel for meetings and trainings

Must-have qualifications

Minimum 4 years of work experience managing professionals, technologies, architecture, or project delivery.
{OR} Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology or Business discipline or related field of study (e.g., Computer Science, Business Management) and a minimum of 1 year of work experience managing professionals, technologies, architecture, or project delivery.

Demonstrated success as a people leader with the ability to coach and develop others while creating a high-performance teams based on a culture of trust
Ability to Implement continuous improvements and to influence others at both Senior Manager and peer levels
Strong collaboration skills and demonstrated success in building partnerships with peers and with IT and business partners
Experience utilizing Lean and Agile methodologies and leading Agile teams
