Job description

The grants writer will work with Ogen’s development team to implement the full grant cycle and take responsibility for the data management necessary to grow philanthropic relationships. The grant writer will develop donor-ready materials, including proposals, reports and budgets, and will take full responsibility for related data management.

As Ogen’s Grants Writer, You Get To:
• Write grant proposals and reports, ensuring they are well-written, impact-driven, and tell a compelling story;
• Draft correspondence, LOIs, and other supporting documents adapting to the needs of each donor and prospect;
• Work with Ogen staff to capture relevant data that informs grant reports and other development material;
• Prepare detailed and accurate budgets to accompany all relevant donor-driven narratives;
• Track grant cycles and donor engagement in an organized and streamlined manner, including coordination of proposal writing and reporting requirements;

This Job Is For You If You:
• Have demonstrated success in writing successful grants, reports and the full gamut of written donor communications;
• Have faultless English and impeccable writing skills;
• Are fluent in Hebrew;
• Are familiar with data management;
• Have proven experience preparing detailed budgets on Excel spreadsheets;
• Can complete projects with exceptional attention to detail and efficiency;
• Are action-oriented and flexible, and are able to work independently as well as to collaborate with colleagues;
• Have a passion of our mission;
• Are personable, motivated, and a team player;
• Can multi-task and prioritize, and are a quick learner;
• Are detail-oriented, organized, enthusiastic, and energetic;
• Are ethical and able to model high personal and professional standards.
