Senior Inspector

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervise Inspectors Level I and/or Level II
· Attends various meetings as needed related to assigned construction projects.
· Perform inspections on large, complex or multiple projects.
· Submit detailed documentation of daily construction activities.
· Assist with coordination of required project acceptance testing.
· Perform materials inspection and acceptance prior to installation.
· Points out potential problems to the contractor and project engineer, and keeps project engineer and supervisor informed of progress of project.
· Responsible for job specific quality system tasks as defined in quality manual.
· Submit extensive written reports and documentation. Construction reports and logs are written and filed daily.
· Review contractor payments.
· Monitor contractors compliance with safety plan requirements.
· Training of Inspectors I & II.
· Perform other duties as may be required.
