Position Overview
The Jewish Education Project seeks a creative and highly organized professional to join our Marketing & Communications team as a Graphic Design & Social Media Associate. This part-time role is perfect for a talented designer who has their finger on the pulse of current social media trends.
The ideal candidate will help tell the story of The Jewish Education Project through compelling visual design and engaging digital content. This role will create marketing materials that strengthen the brand, amplify thought leadership, and inspire educators, funders, and community partners.
Key Areas of Focus and Responsibility
Provide in-house digital and print graphic design across The Jewish Education Project brand and programs, including event collateral, email graphics, infographics, advertisements, reports, presentations, and branded templates. Ensure consistency with organizational brand standards across all materials.
Ideate, develop, edit, and track social media content and trends, including copy, graphic, and video editing, to elevate the brand and expand followers and engagement.
Assist in monitoring social media activity.
Collect, catalog, and organize the library of assets, including stories, statistics, photos, and videos.
Support team projects, vendor coordination, data collection, and reporting.
Experience, Qualifications, and Competencies We welcome applicants with diverse cultural, professional, and educational backgrounds.
Deep knowledge in graphic design and digital media.
Experience with design, social media, and email platforms such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Canva, Hootsuite, and Salesforce Pardot.
Application and integration of AI tools.
Comfortable with platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
A creative thinker who isn't afraid to take risks and can bring unique ideas to the table.
Strong organizational skills and an understanding of processes and procedures.
Familiarity with the Jewish nonprofit landscape is a plus.
