Job description
Why This Role is Exciting
This is a rare opportunity to own the full stack of enterprise technology infrastructure at one of the fastest-growing SaaS companies in North America. As Sr. Director of Enterprise Systems & Data, you will sit at the intersection of revenue operations, data infrastructure, and emerging AI — three domains that are each independently critical and increasingly interdependent.
This role is both hands-on and strategic: you will evolve our revenue technology stack (Salesforce, CPQ), build and govern our enterprise data platform, and lay the architectural groundwork for AI across the business. CPQ is a high-priority focus as we expand into new pricing models, new products, and international markets.
You will lead a team of specialists across Systems and Data, partner closely with IT and Security, and serve as the primary bridge between technical infrastructure and every function that depends on it. This is a building role at a company in full growth mode — the infrastructure you put in place will directly determine how fast and how cleanly we scale.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Systems & CPQ: Own and evolve the revenue technology stack, including Salesforce (CRM and Finance Systems) and CPQ. Drive CPQ evolution to support new pricing models, expanding product offerings, and international growth, ensuring these systems enable the business.
Enterprise Data Platform: Build the enterprise data infrastructure, establish governance standards, and resolve accumulated technical debt. Ensure data functions as neutral, enterprise-wide infrastructure serving Finance, HR, Sales, Operations, and Customer Success with equal rigor and objectivity.
Systems Integration & AI Enablement: Drive integration across enterprise systems via Workato and related platforms. Partner with IT and Security to lay the architectural groundwork for AI initiatives and ensure systems operate cohesively as a platform rather than in silos.
HRIS & People Systems: Own HRIS platform strategy and operations, ensuring reliable, scalable people data infrastructure that supports a growing global workforce.
Capacity & Vendor Management: Manage vendor relationships, managed services partners, and tooling investments. Make strategic build/buy/partner decisions across the stack.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team across Salesforce/Finance Systems, CPQ, HRIS, and Enterprise Data.
Attributes for a Successful Candidate
8+ years of experience leading enterprise technology functions, with direct ownership of systems, data, or platform teams
Hands-on experience with Salesforce (CRM and/or Finance), CPQ platforms, and HRIS systems — you understand both the business context and the technical architecture
Demonstrated ability to build and govern enterprise data infrastructure at scale, with a strong point of view on data quality, objectivity, and access
Experience with AI and automation tooling (Workato or similar integration platforms a plus). You don’t need to build it yourself, but you need to know what good looks like
Track record of leading through ambiguity. Has managed org transitions, open headcount, and competing priorities without losing momentum
Strong cross-functional partnership instincts; you earn trust with Finance, HR, Sales, and Operations because you understand their needs, not just the tech
Analytical & Objective: Data-driven approach to architecture and investment decisions; able to make the case for long-term infrastructure without losing sight of near-term business needs
Strategic & Hands-On: Comfortable contributing at both the whiteboard and in the weeds — this is a building role, not a managing role
International experience a plus: Particularly as it relates to CPQ, tax, and compliance complexity across geographies
