Job description
A social media agency based in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a motivated, creative, and skilled Social Media Intern to join its growing team. This internship is ideal for someone who already has a strong interest in social media and digital content and is looking to gain hands-on experience working with real clients and campaigns.
This is not a passive internship. We are looking for someone who can actively contribute ideas, execute content, and support day-to-day social media operations while learning agency workflows and best practices. The role offers flexibility, mentorship, and the opportunity to grow alongside an experienced creative team.
Key Responsibilities Content Creation & Support-
Assist in creating engaging content for social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn

Support content planning, scheduling, and posting across multiple client accounts

Help source visuals, write captions, and adapt content to different brand voices

Assist with monitoring comments, messages, and engagement

Help track trends, hashtags, and platform updates

Support basic community management tasks

Research social media trends, competitors, and content ideas

Assist with brainstorming creative concepts and campaign ideas

Support reporting on post performance and engagement metrics

Collaborate with designers, strategists, and account managers

Assist with content calendars and client deliverables

Participate in occasional in-person meetings, shoots, or brainstorming sessions

Strong interest in social media, content creation, and digital marketing

Comfortable using platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn

Has basic skills in content creation, copywriting, or video editing

Eager to learn, take initiative, and contribute ideas

Experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe tools, or similar software is a plus
