Director of Recruitment

Location: Lakewood, NJ
Schedule: Full-Time | In-Office
Salary: $150K–$170K DOE

A well-established healthcare organization is seeking a Director of Recruitment to lead its medical recruiting efforts. This role will oversee hiring for medical staff at both high and entry levels, along with other healthcare and administrative positions.

We are looking for a true recruiting hunter—someone who knows how to find and attract candidates rather than simply posting jobs and waiting for applicants.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment for medical professionals across all levels, from entry-level clinical staff through senior medical leadership.
• Develop and manage candidate pipelines using Indeed, LinkedIn, networking, referrals, and direct sourcing.
• Proactively identify and approach passive candidates.
• Partner with leadership and hiring managers to understand staffing needs.
• Develop creative sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill positions.
• Track recruiting activity, pipelines, and results.
• Lead and develop the recruiting team while remaining hands-on with key searches.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in successful recruiting, preferably in healthcare.
• Strong experience with Indeed, LinkedIn, and other recruiting platforms.
• Must be a proactive headhunter who knows how to source candidates directly.
• Experience recruiting medical/clinical professionals strongly preferred.
• Strong communication, networking, and negotiation skills.
• Leadership experience preferred.
