Salary: $70,000-$80,000 per year

Position Overview

A growing multifamily real estate company is seeking a hands-on
Property Manager to oversee daily leasing, collections, and
tenant-related operations across approximately 500 residential units
located throughout the Northeast.

This position reports to the Director of Property Management and is
supported by approximately five virtual assistants, along with local
property and maintenance teams in each market. Local teams handle
inspections, maintenance, and on-site emergencies, allowing this
position to focus on leasing, collections, tenant communication, and
daily operational follow-through.

Responsibilities

- Manage daily leasing activity and tenant communication
- Monitor collections, delinquencies, payment plans, and outstanding balances
- Follow up on unresolved tenant and account matters
- Maintain accurate tenant, leasing, and collection records in Yardi
- Work with virtual assistants and local property teams to complete daily tasks
- Escalate significant tenant or operational issues when necessary
- Provide clear updates to the Director of Property Management
- Ensure important matters are followed through to completion

Qualifications

- Multifamily property management experience required
- Strong collections and tenant-communication experience
- Excellent organization, communication, and follow-through
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working with remote administrative support and local
property teams
- Yardi or similar property management software experience preferred
- Proactive, accountable, and solution-oriented

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary of $70,000-$80,000 per year
