Job description
A growing real estate development company is seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Manager to oversee the coordination and execution of development projects. The company specializes in identifying properties, preparing redevelopment plans, and presenting clients with the potential for rebuilding and maximizing property value.
Once a client proceeds with a project, the Project Manager will coordinate with zoning attorneys, architects, consultants, and other professionals to ensure the project moves forward smoothly from planning through closing.Looking for someone with proven experience in the following:
Works efficiently within strict timeframesFollows every step of a process from start to finishHandles approvals, permits, and regulatory requirements without missing important detailsHands-on and proactive — stays on top of all moving parts required to complete a projectHighly detail-oriented and organizedReliable in managing projectsPrior experience in similar deadline-driven environments is strongly preferred, such as working with title companies, mortgage processing, or other real estate transaction coordination, where multiple steps must be completed accurately within a set timeframe.Responsibilities
- Daily communication and coordination with zoning attorneys, transactional attorneys, architects, title companies, surveyors, and appraisers
- Manage project timelines and track key milestones
- Coordinate due diligence, title clearance, and document preparation
- Coordinate and schedule closings
- Ensure all vendor payments are made on time and maintain detailed payment records
- Act as the main point of contact between the company and external consultants and partners
- Proactively address issues to keep projects on scheduleRequired Qualifications
- Mid-level administrative or project management experience in real estate
- Proficient in Excel, Google Suite (Gmail), and WhatsApp
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ambitious, personable, and detail-orientedPreferred QualificationsExperience working on large multi-family residential development projectsHoursFull-time – 9:00 AM–5:00 PM or 10:00 AM–6:00 PMCompensation$100,000 – $150,000 salary (flexible; willing to pay the right price for the right candidate)
