Logistics Coordinator

We are a global importer and manufacturer specializing in goods sourced from China, India, and
Europe. We are seeking a detail-driven Logistics Coordinator to oversee the end-to-end
management of international shipments.

Key Responsibilities:

● Act as the central liaison between Vendors Purchasers and freight forwarders to arrange
and consolidate global shipments.

● Coordinate consolidation of partial and full containers across countries (China, India,
Europe) to optimize shipping costs and timing.

● Ensure compliance with international trade regulations classify goods accurately,
manage duty/tax obligations, and prepare all import/export documentation.

● Negotiate freight rates, timing, and logistics costs with global carriers.

● Monitor shipment timelines and proactively resolve delays or disruptions.

● Maintain organized records of all shipments, ensuring data is easily accessible for
reporting and inquiries.

Standard Procedures:

● Receive shipment readiness notices from purchasers.
● Book the containers
● Track shipments, from departure to arrival, ensuring all milestones are met.
● Regularly communicate updates to internal teams and global partners.
● Utilize logistics software to monitor and report on progress.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

● 1+ years of logistics or global shipping experience preferred.
● Strong written and verbal communication skills. clear, professional, and proactive.
● Exceptional organizational skills ability to juggle multiple shipments, vendors, and
timelines.
● Proficiency with logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook).
● Understanding of international trade compliance and customs classifications.
● Adaptability and problem-solving mindset able to quickly address shipment disruptions.
