Job description
What You Will Do New Business Acquisition (The Hunter) High-Volume Outreach: Execute a high volume of outbound sales activity (calls, emails, LinkedIn) to engage net-new Marketplace sellers and 1P vendors who are not yet advertising with MMN. Pitch & Convert: Articulate the MMN value proposition to business owners and marketing managers, effectively closing them on initial test budgets and pilot campaigns. Pipeline Management: Maintain impeccable hygiene in our CRM (Salesforce/Boostr), logging all activity, accurately forecasting revenue, and moving hundreds of prospects through the sales funnel. Platform Adoption & Enablement (The Guide) Ad Center Expert: Become a “power user” of the MMN Ad Center. You will serve as the primary onboarding guide, walking clients through platform registration, campaign setup, and wallet funding. Self-Service Migration: Identify clients currently relying on manual support and proactively train them to use self-service tools, freeing up your time to hunt for new business. Troubleshooting: Act as the first line of defense for new advertisers facing setup hurdles, working closely with Ad Operations to resolve friction points quickly. Account Growth & Retention (The Farmer) Performance Analysis: Monitor campaign performance for your book of business. Proactively reach out to clients with data-backed recommendations (e.g., “Your ROAS is high, you should increase your daily budget”) to drive incremental revenue. Upsell Opportunities: Identify high-performing brands within your portfolio and pitch them on seasonal events, new ad formats, or increased investment levels. Feedback Loop: Gather real-time feedback from vendors regarding the Ad Center experience and relay this to your Director to help shape the product roadmap. Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities. Skills You Will Need Sales DNA: You have a “hunter” mentality. You are not afraid of cold calling, handling objections, or hearing “no.” You are motivated by hitting and exceeding numerical targets. Digital Fluency: You are comfortable learning new software quickly. Familiarity with self-service advertising platforms (Amazon Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads) is a distinct advantage. Communication: You can explain complex digital concepts simply. You are just as comfortable writing a persuasive email as you are commanding a Zoom demo. Agility: You thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift. You can manage a high volume of small accounts without letting details slip through the cracks. Data Literacy: You can look at a spreadsheet and understand basic media metrics (ROAS, CPM, CTR) and use them to tell a story to a client. Who You Are This role involves performing essential job functions such as communication, collaboration, and use of office and computer systems. Responsibilities include the ability to access and review written and electronic information, and to move within the work environment and interact with workplace materials as needed to carry out job responsibilities.
