Our client, a growing engineering consulting firm, is seeking a highly organized Office & Operations Manager with expertise in business operations, cross-functional team leadership, and process optimization.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record of leading office operations while driving measurable improvements in efficiency, accountability, and organizational performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead all daily office and business operations to ensure efficient workflows, consistent execution, and uninterrupted business performance.
  • Manage and develop administrative staff, drafters, and office personnel while fostering accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
  • Coordinate communication and project workflows between engineering, drafting, sales, operations, and clients to improve delivery timelines.
  • Monitor project milestones, operational priorities, and resource allocation to ensure deadlines and business objectives are consistently achieved.
  • Serve as the primary operational contact for clients by resolving issues quickly and maintaining exceptional service standards.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and implement scalable systems, workflows, and process improvements that increase productivity and efficiency.
  • Partner with executive leadership on strategic initiatives, operational planning, budgeting support, and organizational growth.
  • Develop reporting metrics, performance dashboards, and operational KPIs that provide visibility into business performance and resource utilization.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in operations management, office management, business management, or general management.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams in a professional services environment.
  • Strong experience with operational planning, workflow management, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and project coordination skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication, client relationship management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, project management software, CRM platforms, and business reporting tools.
  • Experience working within engineering, construction, architecture, consulting, or other professional services organizations is highly preferred.
