Job description
A growing wholesale company in New York City is seeking a smart, organized, and highly motivated Project Manager to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual who enjoys taking ownership of projects, staying organized, and working across multiple areas of the business.
The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator and problem-solver who can manage projects from start to finish; dealing with products, China, supplier, art department, E commerce and sales team, coordinate with internal teams and outside partners, and ensure deadlines and priorities are consistently met. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to receive hands-on training in sales and business development and grow into a broader role within the company.
Key Responsibilities- Manage projects from initial planning through completion, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met.
- Coordinate with customers, vendors, suppliers, and internal departments to keep projects moving forward.
- Track project timelines, approvals, orders, and outstanding action items.
- Maintain organized records, spreadsheets, reports, and project documentation.
- Follow up consistently with team members, vendors, and customers to ensure tasks are completed on time.
- Identify potential issues or delays and take initiative to resolve them.
- Assist with product development, orders, and other wholesale business operations.
- Help prioritize daily tasks and ensure important projects remain on schedule.
- Communicate project updates and provide regular status reports to management.
- Take on additional responsibilities as the role develops and the business grows.
- Learn the company's products, customers, and sales processes with the opportunity to receive training and transition into sales and business development responsibilities.
- Highly organized, responsible, and detail-oriented.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong follow-up skills and a proactive approach to getting things done.
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of responsibilities.

- Previous project management, operations, wholesale, sales, or administrative experience is a plus, but the right motivated candidate will be considered.
- Must be eager to learn and interested in developing long-term business and sales skills.
