Insurance Underwriter/CSR

 

The Underwriter / CSR plays a key role in underwriting accounts while providing exceptional customer service to assigned clients. This position requires effective communication with company underwriters, clients, and in-house brokers to ensure risks are accurately assessed and underwritten, meeting the specific needs and satisfaction of clients.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter data into the company’s software system.
• Generate quotes using various insurance carrier portals.
• Maintain effective communication with a broad range of insurance carriers.
• Provide responsive and satisfactory customer support to clients.
• Collaborate with internal brokers and underwriting teams to ensure proper risk evaluation.
