Medical Assistant - Internal Medicine

Location: 620 Foster Ave, Brooklyn NY, 11230

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 8:15 AM-4:15 PM. Friday 8:15 AM- 1 PM

💰 Compensation: $23–$27 per hour (based on experience and credentials)

Responsibilities

1. Greet and room patients
2. Collect and document vital signs (BP, height, weight, RR, etc.) in the EMR system
3. Prepare patients and exam rooms for procedures
4. Respond to patient medical questions
5. Perform phlebotomy and point-of-care (POC) testing
6. Clean and sanitize rooms between patients
7. Clean and sterilize instruments
8. Stock and restock exam rooms and supplies as needed

Qualifications

1. Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred
2. Phlebotomy experience required
3. Medical Assistant Certificate and/or Phlebotomy Certificate preferred
4. Strong organizational and multitasking skills
5. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced pediatric setting
