Position Overview

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and underwrite new and renewal business submissions.
• Assess risk exposure and determine appropriate coverage terms, conditions, and pricing.
• Make timely underwriting decisions while maintaining profitability goals.
• Negotiate terms with brokers, agents, and clients to secure profitable business.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with agency partners and producers.
• Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and new business submissions.
• Monitor underwriting performance and maintain a profitable book of business.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop underwriting strategies and market initiatives.
• Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and market conditions.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior underwriting staff when needed.
