Financial Controller

 

A growing business is seeking a Financial Controller to lead its accounting function and provide strong financial insight across the organization.

This role will oversee day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, cash flow, and budgeting while working closely with operations teams to deliver analytics that support business performance and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting functions and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting

• Manage the monthly close process and preparation of financial statements

• Manage cash flow planning, forecasting, and reporting

• Lead the annual budgeting process and track performance against budget

• Partner with operations teams to provide financial analysis and actionable insights

• Strengthen accounting processes, controls, and reporting procedures

• Provide leadership and oversight to the accounting team

Requirements

• Strong accounting background, with prior experience in a Controller, VP of Finance, or similar leadership role within a private company strongly preferred

• Strong understanding of financial reporting, cash flow management, and budgeting

• Ability to work closely with operational leaders and translate financial data into meaningful business insights

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

• Hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in an entrepreneurial environment
