Position Overview



We are seeking an exceptional Neighbors Agreement Specialist to join our dynamic team. This critical role serves as the primary liaison between property owners, residents, and community stakeholders to facilitate, negotiate, and maintain positive neighbor relations through formal agreements and ongoing communication. The ideal candidate is a natural people person who thrives in interpersonal environments, brings infectious energy to every interaction, and demonstrates unwavering drive to resolve conflicts and build lasting community partnerships.



As a Neighbors Agreement Specialist, you will be the cornerstone of community harmony, working to prevent disputes, mediate disagreements, and create legally sound agreements that protect all parties' interests while fostering a spirit of cooperation and mutual respect. This position requires someone who genuinely enjoys working with diverse personalities, can remain positive under pressure, and possesses the determination to see complex negotiations through to successful completion.



Key Responsibilities



Agreement Development & Negotiation



  • Draft, review, and finalize neighbor agreements addressing property boundaries, shared amenities, noise considerations, parking arrangements, and other community concerns
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments with all parties involved to understand concerns, expectations, and desired outcomes
  • Facilitate negotiation sessions between neighbors to reach mutually beneficial agreements
  • Ensure all agreements comply with local ordinances, HOA regulations, and legal requirements
  • Maintain detailed documentation of all agreements, amendments, and related correspondence
  • Coordinate with legal counsel when complex issues arise requiring specialized expertise


Community Relations & Conflict Resolution



  • Serve as the first point of contact for neighbor disputes and concerns, responding promptly with empathy and professionalism
  • Conduct on-site visits to assess situations, gather information, and demonstrate commitment to resolution
  • Mediate conflicts using proven conflict resolution techniques, maintaining neutrality while guiding parties toward compromise
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, property owners, HOA boards, and community leaders
