A manufacturing company is seeking a Finishing Supervisor to lead a high-performing team in one of its fastest-growing departments. The Finishing team plays a vital role in maintaining high production standards through custom color applications, refinishing, and product rework. This position requires strong leadership, emotional intelligence, and adaptability on a dynamic production floor. While experience in finishing is a plus, candidates with supervisory experience in any manufacturing setting who are eager to grow into the role are encouraged to apply Responsibilities: Lead and Develop Team: Supervise finishing technicians and rework specialists to ensure safety, productivity, and quality standards are consistently met. Manage Workflow: Oversee daily operations, including custom finishing and rework, while minimizing production delays and optimizing throughput. Uphold Quality Standards: Ensure all finishing work meets or exceeds company standards before moving to the next production stage. Collaborate Across Teams: Coordinate with Quality Control and Production Planning teams to resolve bottlenecks and align schedules with overall production goals. Skills: Team Leadership: Proven ability to motivate and manage teams in a manufacturing environment. Emotional Intelligence: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on empathy and accountability. Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot issues and think critically under time pressure. Organizational Skills: Exceptional time management and ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic setting. Requirements: Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a production or manufacturing environment (finishing or woodworking experience is a plus). Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required.
