Machine Maintenance Mechanic

Job description

Our client, a manufacturing company is looking for a Machine Mechanic with the technical aptitude to identify and implement technical measures on machinery and equipment to maintain and improve machines efficiency and product quality.The ideal candidate is responsible for the maintenance and repairs of company equipment and its entire electrical system, to assist rescue of machine breakdown and accidents.Responsibilities:Diagnose and rectify machine faults and inefficiencies and maintain key spare componentsProvide relief to operating crews by running designated machines to production standardAssist as required with the maintenance of all production and ancillary machinery, keeping records and continuous development of maintenance procedures and practicesComplies with equipment requirements such as engine tests, safety, and combustion controlsKeeps organized filing of records on services and repairs on a daily basis;Maintains safety guidelines and clean working environment to observe standards at all timesConducts inventory on available tools, parts, or supplies and consequently requests orders on machine company in a timely mannerQualifications:1+ year exceptional hands-on experience working as Machine MechanicAdvanced skills and highly knowledgeable in engine troubleshooting, repairing, and fault diagnosis of machinery in a manufacturing environment.Good understanding of basic math and proficient ability to use electrical and mechanical equipment, techniques, methods repair and maintenanceStrong communication skills and ability to interact with numerous facilities and machine companies and or departmentsExcellent problem-solving ability and must have a sense of urgency to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and mechanical problems simultaneouslyUnderstand the importance of safety and quality work and looking out for the safety of you and your team Location: Fort Lee NJSalary: $90K
