Facade Designer / Facade Specialist

Our client, an architectural firm is seeking a Facade Designer to lead the design and detailing of building envelopes for multi-family residential projects.The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of facade systems, materials, and construction techniques, and will work closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure aesthetic and technical excellence.Responsibilities:Develop and detail facade designs from concept through construction.Prepare drawings, specifications, and material selections for facade systems.Collaborate with project architects, structural engineers, and contractors to ensure design feasibility and compliance.Review shop drawings and coordinate with fabricators and installers.Ensure compliance with building codes, energy performance standards, and project requirements.Utilize Revit and other design tools for documentation and visualization.Requirements:Minimum 3–5 years of experience in facade design or building envelope detailing.Strong knowledge of facade systems, materials, and construction practices.Proficiency in Revit and other relevant software.Excellent communication and coordination skills.Location: Brooklyn NYSalary: $110K
