Production Manager

Our client, a leading packaging manufacturer, is seeking a results-driven Production Manager with expertise in manufacturing operations, production leadership, and continuous improvement.The Production Manager will work cross-functionally to optimize plant performance, achieve operational goals, and support the company's long-term growth objectives.ResponsibilitiesLead daily manufacturing operations to consistently achieve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost objectives.Drive improvements in labor productivity, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), schedule attainment, scrap reduction, and overall manufacturing efficiency.Develop, coach, and mentor supervisors and production teams while building a culture of accountability and high performance.Partner with Maintenance, Quality, Planning, Supply Chain, Engineering, and other departments to improve plant performance and resolve operational challenges.Monitor production KPIs, analyze operational data, conduct root cause investigations, and implement corrective actions that deliver measurable business results.Manage workforce planning, staffing, employee development, performance management, and training initiatives to strengthen operational capabilities.Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives that reduce costs, improve throughput, and enhance customer satisfaction.Ensure compliance with all company safety standards, quality systems, and manufacturing best practices.Foster a collaborative, hands-on leadership environment focused on operational excellence and employee engagement.Qualifications:5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience in a fast-paced production environment.Proven success leading supervisors, production teams, and multiple manufacturing shifts.Strong knowledge of production planning, labor management, manufacturing KPIs, OEE, schedule attainment, and continuous improvement methodologies.Demonstrated ability to improve productivity, quality, safety, operational performance, and cost efficiency.Experience with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing reporting tools.Excellent leadership, coaching, communication, and conflict resolution skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach to operational decision-making.Location: Ridgefield Park, NJSalary: $150K
