Our client, a growing manufacturing company, is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support all human resources functions at its New Jersey manufacturing facility.The Human Resources Generalist will support employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, compliance, payroll, benefits, and training while partnering closely with the HR Manager. This role works closely with supervisors and employees across multiple shifts to ensure compliance with employment laws, support daily HR operations, and foster a positive workplace culture.Responsibilities:Support employee relations by assisting with investigations, coaching, corrective actions, conflict resolution, and employee engagement initiatives.Assist with full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, orientation, and new hire follow-up.Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including I-9, FLSA, and HR recordkeeping requirements.Coordinate employee training, leadership development, and compliance programs.Support payroll processing, timekeeping, attendance tracking, and employee benefits inquiries.Maintain accurate employee records and assist with internal and external audits.Partner with supervisors to ensure consistent application of company policies and procedures.Assist with OSHA, safety, and workplace compliance initiatives.Track HR metrics, including attendance, turnover, and workforce reporting.Support process improvement initiatives and additional HR projects as assigned.Requirements:1–3 years of Human Resources experience; manufacturing experience preferred.Knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, and HR best practices.Experience supporting employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, and HR compliance.Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.Sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.Bilingual in English and Spanish required or strongly preferred.SHRM-CP, PHR, or other HR certification preferred.Experience in a manufacturing or multi-shift environment is a plus.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Location: Ridgefield Park, NJSalary: $75K
