An established ABA company is seeking an experienced Medical Biller with a minimum of three years of billing experience, preferably within ABA or behavioral health services. The Medical Biller will be responsible for managing the full billing cycle, ensuring accurate and timely claim submission, payment posting, and follow-up with insurance payers. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who is comfortable working independently and understands the urgency and compliance requirements of healthcare billing. Responsibilities: Submit, track, and manage insurance claims for ABA services, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Post payments, reconcile accounts, and follow up on denied or underpaid claims. Communicate with insurance companies to resolve billing issues, appeals, and discrepancies. Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure proper documentation and billing compliance. Skills: Strong knowledge of medical billing processes, including CPT codes, modifiers, and insurance guidelines. High attention to detail with excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to analyze denials and proactively resolve billing issues. Professional communication skills when interacting with insurance representatives and internal teams. Requirements: Minimum of 3 years of medical billing experience; ABA or behavioral health experience strongly preferred. Familiarity with ABA billing codes and payer-specific requirements.
