Job description
The Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey is seeking a nurturing, compassionate, and collaborative Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support the Katz JCC Early Childhood Center, an inclusive private Jewish childcare and preschool program serving children from infancy to 5 years. The BCBA serves as an active support throughout the Early Childhood Center, collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to provide classroom consultation, professional development, and proactive intervention strategies that promote independence, self-regulation, positive peer interactions, and school readiness. Responsibilities: • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments and develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans when appropriate • Design individualized and classroom-based strategies supporting self-regulation, communication, transitions, and positive peer interactions • Facilitate individual and small-group social skills instruction focused on play skills, emotional regulation, and peer engagement • Provide consultation and coaching to faculty on behavior management, developmentally appropriate practice, and inclusive early childhood education • Prepare behavior analytic instructional and visual supports; monitor progress through data collection and observation • Develop and facilitate staff trainings and parent workshops Qualifications: • Current BCBA certification required • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field, with at least 1 year of experience • Knowledge of evidence-based ABA practices and person-centered planning • Experience in staff supervision and training required Salary: $70,000-$80,000 annually.
