Job description
The Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey is seeking a compassionate and collaborative Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support students, faculty, and families at Kellman Brown Academy, a private Jewish day school serving children from infant through 8th grade. The role facilitates an inclusive school culture where all students thrive socially, emotionally, behaviorally, and academically. The BCBA serves as a building-wide support, providing professional development, individual and group social skills instruction, and individualized planning for students and classrooms that benefit from additional behavioral, social-emotional, executive functioning, and organizational support. Responsibilities: • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments and develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans as needed • Design and implement individualized and classroom-based strategies supporting self-regulation, coping skills, organization, and positive peer interactions • Facilitate individual and small-group social skills instruction • Provide consultation and coaching to faculty on behavior management, classroom climate, and inclusive practices • Monitor student progress through data collection and observation; participate in student support meetings • Develop and facilitate staff trainings and parent workshops Qualifications: • Current BCBA certification required • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field, with at least 1 year of experience • Knowledge of evidence-based ABA practices and person-centered planning • Experience in staff supervision and training required Salary: $70,000-$80,000 annually.
