JEWISHcolorado (JCO) is the product of a merger among the Allied Jewish Federation of Colorado, the Colorado Agency for Jewish Education, and the Jewish Community Foundation of Colorado. Its mission is to convene, connect, invest in, and protect Jewish life in Colorado, Israel, and around the world. JCO employs 30 full-time professionals, operates with a budget of just under $9 million, raised $13.4 million in FY2025, and manages nearly $80 million in foundation assets. Colorado is home to more than 125,000 Jews, among the 20 largest Jewish communities in the United States. Responsibilities: • Provide strategic leadership to the Board, staff, and broader community, advancing JCO's role as a central convener • Lead the organization's fundraising strategy; personally cultivate major donors and solicit leadership gifts for the annual campaign, designated initiatives, and endowment • Recruit, lead, develop, and evaluate a high-performing professional and lay team • Serve as chief ambassador and spokesperson with community partners, funders, and local, national, and international stakeholders • Provide decisive leadership during crises and ensure sound fiscal oversight, including development of the annual budget Qualifications: • Senior-level leadership experience with proven success leading an organization of comparable size and complexity • Significant experience in total financial resource development oversight and major donor solicitation • Proven crisis management experience and outstanding written and verbal communication skills • Meaningful experience engaging with and supporting Israel and global Jewish partners Salary: $310,000-$350,000.
