Job description
ADL is the leading anti-hate organization in the world. Founded in 1913, its mission is to stop the defamation of the Jewish people and to secure justice and fair treatment to all. The Associate Regional Director assists the Regional Director and Regional Operations team in planning, developing, and implementing initiatives and services that advance ADL's mission in Florida, with a focus on public policy, leadership engagement advocacy, and law enforcement relations. Reports to the Deputy Director. Position may be based in Boca Raton or Miami. Responsibilities: • Build relationships with Jewish and non-Jewish partner organizations and lead volunteer committees, including the Advocacy and Engagement Committee • Receive and investigate complaints of discrimination and antisemitic incidents; conduct fact-finding research and maintain records • Act as lead contact with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies in Florida, coordinating trainings, quarterly meetings, and the regional Law Enforcement Awards • Coordinate program communications and marketing materials; represent ADL at community events Qualifications: • Multiple years' experience in Jewish community relations, advocacy, law enforcement, or public affairs • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience • Strong event planning, project management, public speaking, and writing skills Salary: $65,000 - $70,000. Hybrid schedule, 3 days in office.
