HIRING — DIRECTOR OF SALES Growing Manufacturing Company | Rutherford, NJ | In-Office We are seeking an experienced Director of Sales to lead and grow our sales department. This is a leadership role responsible for serving as the bridge between our manufacturing facility and our distribution partners, ensuring both operate efficiently and have the support, communication, and resources needed to maximize sales and performance. Responsibilities Lead and oversee the company’s sales department. Build and maintain strong relationships with distribution partners and key accounts. Serve as the primary link between manufacturing and distribution to ensure seamless communication and execution. Visit distributors and retail locations to monitor product placement, inventory levels, and market performance. Identify opportunities to increase sales, expand market share, and grow existing accounts. Work closely with ownership to develop and execute sales strategies. Analyze sales performance and recommend improvements. Recruit, lead, and develop the sales team as the company grows. Ensure distributors and the company have the information, inventory, and support needed to perform at the highest level. Qualifications 5+ years of sales leadership experience, preferably in manufacturing, distribution, wholesale, or CPG. Proven ability to build and manage distributor relationships. Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to business development and problem-solving. Willingness to travel locally to distributors and customer locations. What Sets This Role Apart This is more than a sales management position. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of the entire sales operation, builds lasting partnerships with distributors, identifies growth opportunities, and ensures our manufacturing and distribution teams remain aligned to drive long-term success.
