MEP Engineer ? Boro Park, Brooklyn, NY ? Full-Time | In-Office ? $140K+ DOE A growing company is seeking an experienced MEP Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have several years of hands-on experience with plumbing, mechanical, sprinkler, and building systems, along with strong knowledge of NYC DOB processes and objections. Responsibilities Design and coordinate MEP systems for commercial and residential projects Prepare and review engineering plans, drawings, and specifications Handle DOB filings, approvals, and objections Coordinate with architects, contractors, expeditors, and project teams Ensure projects comply with NYC building codes and regulations Review plumbing, HVAC, sprinkler, and mechanical system designs Troubleshoot field and design issues during project execution Manage multiple projects and ensure deadlines are met Requirements Several years of experience as an MEP Engineer required Strong knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, sprinkler, and mechanical systems Experience handling DOB objections and filings required Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and related engineering software Ability to read and review architectural and construction plans Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to take ownership of projects This is a great opportunity for someone looking to join a professional and growing team with strong long-term potential.
