Private Label Product Manager Location: On-site 3 days per week Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week) Salary: $115k/125K DOE Plus Bonuses About the Role A leading creative technology retailer is seeking a Private Label Product Manager to drive the growth, profitability, and development of its private label product portfolio. This role will own the full product lifecycle — from product strategy and development through manufacturing, launch, and ongoing optimization. The ideal candidate has strong experience in consumer electronics product management, product development, and working with overseas manufacturers and vendors. Responsibilities Own private label brand strategy, product roadmaps, and category growth plans. Manage the full product lifecycle from concept through launch and end-of-life. Lead new product development projects, ensuring products meet quality, cost, and timeline goals. Work closely with executives, marketing, operations, vendors, and category teams. Conduct market research and analyze customer needs, trends, and competitive products. Develop product positioning, pricing strategies, packaging, and marketing plans. Manage relationships with overseas manufacturers and suppliers. Oversee manufacturing, quality control, compliance, and supply chain processes. Monitor sales performance, profitability, and key performance indicators. Lead vendor meetings, product reviews, and improvement initiatives. Manage Amazon Marketplace strategy, including listings, A+ content, and performance optimization. Mentor junior product team members. Requirements 5+ years of experience in product management, product development, or brand management. Experience with consumer electronics or hard goods required. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, especially overseas production in Asia. Experience managing vendors, suppliers, and product launches. Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and project management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of supply chain, quality control, and retail operations. Experience with Amazon Seller Central is a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP systems.
