Senior Buyer NYC 85-120K Job Summary: Seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Buyer & Merchant to manage product selection, purchasing, and vendor relationships. This role is responsible for planning assortments, analyzing sales trends, and ensuring timely procurement to meet customer and business needs. Key Responsibilities: Source, negotiate, and purchase merchandise from vendors Analyze sales data to optimize product mix and inventory levels Collaborate with cross-functional teams (planning, marketing, e-commerce, etc.) Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform buying decisions Track and manage purchase orders, delivery schedules, and cost targets Requirements: 2+ years of experience in buying or merchandising Strong analytical and negotiation skills Proficient in Excel and retail management systems Excellent communication and organizational abilities
