Chief Financial Officer Indianapolis, IN / Dayton, OH (minimum 3 days per week in office) $225K – $275K + bonus/upside A fast-growing healthcare services company is seeking a CFO to lead its accounting and finance functions while serving as a strategic partner to ownership and the executive team. The company operates a vertically integrated model spanning procurement, production, fulfillment, and delivery. This role requires a commercially minded finance leader who can understand the full business, improve visibility and accountability, and drive meaningful change across systems, processes, margins, and growth strategy. Responsibilities Lead all accounting and finance functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and controls Provide strategic financial guidance to ownership and senior leadership Improve financial systems, processes, reporting, and operating discipline Develop greater visibility into cost of goods, production costs, margins, reimbursement, and overall profitability Partner with operations to identify inefficiencies, improve performance, and support scalable growth Establish KPIs and reporting that drive accountability and better decision-making Lead financial planning and analysis across new initiatives, investments, and growth opportunities Oversee tax, audit, banking, insurance, and external financial relationships Build and develop a capable accounting and finance team Proactively identify opportunities to strengthen the business and push key initiatives forward Requirements Experience as a CFO, VP of Finance, Controller, or similar senior finance leader Strong accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting experience Understanding of healthcare reimbursement or other reimbursement-driven business models Experience with cost accounting, cost of goods, margins, and operational finance Strong business judgment and the ability to connect financial performance with operational execution Demonstrated ability to improve systems, processes, controls, and reporting Decisive and proactive leadership style with the ability to effect change Comfortable operating in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with ownership and senior leadership
