Job description

BBYO is looking for an organized, detail-oriented Operations Associate to help power the day-to-day operations of BBYO Eastern Canada, which engages more than 1,000 Jewish teens each year through chapters, leadership programs, conventions, travel experiences and community events across Ontario and Quebec. Working closely with the Executive Director and regional staff, you'll help ensure programs, events, systems and operations run smoothly. Responsibilities: • Manage registration processes for conventions, travel experiences, leadership programs and community events • Build and maintain registration forms, participant records, waivers, payments and event communications • Prepare participant lists, nametags, rooming lists, dietary reports, transportation manifests and emergency information • Develop, document and improve organizational processes, workflows and standard operating procedures • Maintain accurate membership, prospect, alumni, donor and volunteer records within the CRM • Process invoices, reimbursements, deposits and expense claims and assist with budget tracking • Serve as a primary point of contact for administrative inquiries from teens, parents, volunteers and community partners Qualifications: • Post-secondary degree or diploma, or equivalent combination of education and experience • Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail • Strong technology skills; experience with spreadsheets, databases, CRM systems or registration platforms an asset • Ability to work in person in the Greater Toronto Area and flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends • Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle and eligibility to work in Canada • Ability to staff a summer leadership program in the United States for approximately 2-3 weeks each summer Salary: $50,000-$58,000 CAD annually, commensurate with experience.
