Lander-Grinspoon Academy, an independent Jewish day school serving students in Kindergarten through Grade 6, is hiring a compassionate, collaborative and skilled Learning Specialist to join its faculty. The Learning Specialist works closely with students, teachers, families and school leadership to support the academic success of all learners, providing direct intervention services, conducting assessments, collaborating with classroom teachers and helping implement best practices for supporting diverse learning needs. Responsibilities: • Provide small-group and individual academic support for students requiring additional intervention • Conduct benchmark assessments and analyze student performance data • Develop detailed progress reports and communicate student growth with families and teachers • Collaborate with classroom teachers to support differentiated instruction and effective intervention strategies • Participate in parent conferences, student support meetings and faculty meetings • Contribute to curriculum review and instructional planning as needed • Support school programs, events, field trips and other community activities Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree required • Experience providing academic intervention and supporting students with diverse learning needs • Knowledge of assessment practices and data-driven instruction • Strong communication, collaboration and organizational skills Hours: 25 hours per week. Salary: $23,000-$25,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Benefits: Sick and personal time, early release Fridays, and time off for national and Jewish holidays. This part-time position follows the school calendar.
