5th Grade Boys Secular Studies Teacher

Yeshiva Elementary School (YES) is seeking a 5th grade secular studies teacher for a part-time position in the boys division, beginning August 2026. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong background in elementary education, with proven success in delivering engaging and effective instruction across core subject areas. You will teach a class of about 20-22 boys in a dual language environment. Responsibilities: • Teach all core secular subjects • Foster a positive and structured classroom environment • Use strong classroom management skills to support student growth • Implement school-provided curriculum and maintain high academic expectations • Respond thoughtfully to guidance and direction from administrative leadership • Maintain consistent, professional communication with parents regarding student successes and challenges Successful candidates will be collaborative team players, committed to professional growth, aligned with the mission and values of YES, and will recognize the vital partnership between school and home in supporting each student's success. Salary: Commensurate with experience.
