Job description
The Philanthropy Administrator provides direct administrative and operational support to the Chief Philanthropy Officer and serves as a key resource to all members of the Philanthropy Team. Responsibilities: • Provide administrative and operational support to the Chief Philanthropy Officer and the wider Philanthropy Team • Support the Senior Director of Philanthropy, Annual Campaign, through data management, reporting, donor tracking and administrative follow-up • Manage the annual Donor Honor Roll process in partnership with the Operations team • Work with the Marketing team to keep Philanthropy-related website content current • Process pledge submissions, gift documentation and donor records accurately and on time • Coordinate expense reporting, invoice processing and purchase requests • Schedule donor visits, volunteer meetings and campaign appointments; prepare donor materials, briefings, stewardship packets and presentations • Assist with philanthropy events, stewardship activities and donor recognition initiatives • Maintain accurate donor records and engagement history in the organization's CRM Qualifications: • College degree preferred; minimum three to five years of professional administrative, nonprofit or fundraising experience preferred • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail and project management ability • Experience with databases, CRM systems, spreadsheets and reporting tools; proficiency in Microsoft Office • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion • Understanding of the Jewish community preferred; must be able to attend occasional evening and weekend events Benefits: 401(k) matching, health benefits, HSA or HRA contribution, group term life insurance, paid time off, national plus Jewish holidays off, and optional dental, vision, FSA, DCA and LPFSA.
