Licensed Clinical Therapist - Youth & Young Adults

Job description

Compensation: $63,000 to $65,000 annually. Only candidates with an active TX license will be considered. The JFS Youth and Young Adult Therapist provides therapy services to JFS clients including individual, family and group interventions in a collaborative community setting. Focusing on the unique mental health needs that arise in childhood and early adulthood, the therapist offers resources and referrals to build clients' capacity to thrive. Responsibilities: • Perform on-site and/or remote telehealth clinical counseling for children, teens, young adults and families, including individual and group therapy, case management and crisis intervention • Provide advocacy, service linkage and referral; maintain knowledge of current Greater Austin resources • Partner with clinical staff and all Shalom Austin staff; attend staff meetings, trainings and biweekly clinical supervision • Maintain professional and timely documentation in the electronic medical record, including intake notes, progress notes and treatment plans • Engage in community outreach through psychoeducation, community events and networking • Identify needs among Austin area youth and young adults and meet them through direct services and community partnerships Availability: Full-time, flexible hours with some evening and weekend availability required. Must be able to travel between JFS locations and shared community workspaces.
