Salary: $20 per hour. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible, non-exempt position. This position provides housekeeping services to seniors, adults with disabilities and adults with serious illnesses in their homes. Services include light housecleaning, laundry, simple meal preparation and cleanup, and running errands, providing non-professional support to patients within a home setting. Responsibilities: • Dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning kitchens and bathrooms including floors • Laundry and linen changing • Supplemental grocery shopping and light meal preparation as needed • Represent Jewish Family Service in the homes of clients and in the community • Report client problems or concerns to the Field Staff Supervisor • Attend scheduled supervisory meetings, mandatory agency meetings and trainings Qualifications: • One year of relevant experience preferred; housekeeping/cleaning experience in apartments and private homes preferred • Attention to detail and timeliness; knowledge of aging and disabilities • Ability to comprehend and complete daily logs, delivery logs, mileage sheets and schedules • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance required; mileage reimbursement provided • May regularly be required to lift 50 pounds or more Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, HSA, FSA, Legal/ID Theft, supplemental insurances, agency-paid Life/LTD, Employee Assistance Programs, 401(k), 16 paid holidays and a generous leave program.
