Job description
Salary: $26.00 - $38.00 per hour This position provides outpatient mental health counseling to individuals, groups, families and couples, promoting optimum mental and emotional health while providing case management services that benefit the client and the community. Responsibilities: • Provide therapy and case management services to clients as needed • Prepare and maintain treatment records, federal- and state-mandated forms, diagnostic records and progress notes within required timeframes • Guide clients in developing skills and strategies for dealing with their problems, modifying treatment approaches as client status changes • Collaborate with nurse practitioners, psychiatrists and other staff on clinical assessments and treatment plans • Refer clients to wrap-around JFS programs, community resources or specialists; act as a client advocate in crisis situations • Maintain agency productivity standards and attend staff meetings and committees Qualifications: • Master's or doctoral degree in counseling or a related field from a CACREP-accredited program • Three to five years of experience in individual, group, family and/or couples' therapy preferred • Familiarity with the DSM-5 and diagnostic techniques; knowledge of Medicaid chart compliance preferred • License preferred (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PsyD or PhD); current CPR certification required • All clinicians must register with CAQH within seven days of hire; unlicensed clinicians must register with DORA prior to start Work Environment: Primarily in-office at 3201 South Tamarac Dr., Denver 80231. May be eligible for a hybrid schedule.
