Communications Manager

Job description

The Communications Manager is part of Moving Traditions' Development & Communications Department and is responsible for supporting the planning, execution and tracking of all outreach activities across the organization, including email, web, social media and event communications. Reporting to the VP of Marketing & Communications, this role supports a high-functioning communications and development team in meeting organizational goals. This position is suited for someone with an eye for detail who enjoys writing, contact management and basic data analysis. Moving Traditions is a nonprofit organization that helps Jewish teens discover who they are and who they want to be. Founded in 2005, Moving Traditions has supported more than 48,500 Jewish youth across North America by partnering with 800+ institutions. The organization's three core approaches are curricular programs that bring Jewish youth together in classrooms, camps and other Jewish institutions; immersive teen experiences that help Jewish high schoolers pursue identity and belonging through mentorship, intersectional feminism and social justice; and community learning resources and events for those seeking to understand what Jewish teens need today.
