Northeast Regional Director

Job description

The Northeast Regional Director is part of the Moving Traditions Partnership Team. Regional Directors use sales strategies to engage new and existing Moving Traditions partners - synagogues, JCCs, summer camps and other institutions - in adopting the organization's 5th-12th grade curricular programs. The Regional Director provides ongoing support, guidance and relationship-building for all partners in the region, playing a key role in expanding Moving Traditions' reach to more Jewish youth, their parents, and the educators and teen engagement staff who work with them. Qualifications: • An educator with an entrepreneurial spirit and an established Jewish communal network in the Northeast • Excellent communication skills and strong follow-through • A passion for facilitation, public speaking and presentations, as regional staff facilitate curriculum and represent the organization locally and nationally • Strong commitment to the Moving Traditions mission Location: While this is a remote position, Regional Directors must reside in the region they manage and are expected to attend in-person meetings and conferences and facilitate educational opportunities and events throughout the year. Candidates currently living in the New York City or Boston metro areas are sought. Moving Traditions is a nonprofit that helps Jewish teens discover who they are and who they want to be. Founded in 2005, it has supported more than 48,500 Jewish youth across North America in partnership with 800+ institutions.
