The Stoler Early Learning Center, located at the JCC of Greater Baltimore's Rosenbloom Owings Mills Campus, serves 200 children from 6 weeks through kindergarten and is seeking energetic, dedicated Assistant Teachers committed to children's social-emotional and educational growth. Responsibilities: • Provide a safe environment through active supervision, remaining in ratio at all times • Support the Lead Teacher in documenting children's play and learning • Be sensitive to individual children's differences and needs and help create opportunities for social interaction, physical activity, creative expression, and Jewish experiences • Maintain a clean, organized classroom and communicate warmly with families Qualifications: • High School Diploma required; 90-hour Certification, CDA, Associate's, or bachelor's in early childhood education preferred • Working knowledge of the growth and development of young children • Ability to meet Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) requirements • Basic Judaic knowledge (holidays, culture, traditions) or a willingness to learn Salary: $18.50 per hour. Assistant Teachers work part-time or full-time (typically 35–40 hours/week between 7:30am and 5:30pm). This is a 12-month program that transitions to Noah's Ark Preschool Camp in the summer.
