Residential Manager

Weinberg Commons, a department of the Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey, is seeking a full-time Residential Manager for its Residential Program. The Residential Manager oversees a residential program, maintains the health, safety, and wellbeing of all individuals, supervises a team of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), and ensures compliance with all state licensing regulations (DDD, DCA) and JFCS policies. Responsibilities: • Create and oversee a safe, healthy residential community with meaningful community participation • Serve 'on call' 24 hours a day in cooperation with other management staff • Monitor individuals' care and wellbeing — cooking, cleaning, transportation, hygiene, ADLs, medical appointments, and medication administration • Assist with hiring and onboarding DSPs, complete staff evaluations, monitor the residential budget, and ensure accurate documentation and required trainings Qualifications: • Preferred Bachelor's degree or higher plus at least one year in residential services; three years in residential with IDD may substitute for the degree • Valid NJ driver's license with a clean driving record; at least 18 years of age • Must clear criminal background, CARI, and drug-testing checks and complete required training (including CPR and crisis management) Benefits: Generous PTO; medical, dental, and vision care; 403(b) plan eligibility; group term life insurance; voluntary disability insurance; FSA & HSA options; gym membership; and other employee discounts.
